Michael’s of Denver is committed to making this historical website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.

Our approach

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably possible. Current measures include keyboard-visible focus, a skip link, semantic page headings and landmarks, descriptive link text, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, and text alternatives for meaningful images.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing process. The site contains archival photographs, PDFs, and older source material that may not yet meet every current accessibility expectation. We continue to review the experience and improve barriers we identify.

Links to related or third-party websites lead to content that Michael’s of Denver does not control. Those sites are responsible for their own accessibility.
